Sulfur is the most harmful element that increases CH and CO, especially respirable particulate matter (PM) in diesel engine emissions, so reducing the sulfur content in diesel is particularly important to improve air pollution.
According to the requirements of energy conservation and emission reduction, in order to improve the exhaust quality of diesel engines, in recent years, domestic and foreign oil refineries have begun to adopt deep processing and refining processes such as hydrorefining, hydrogenation and hydrocracking to produce low-sulfur diesel characterized by low sulfur content and low aromatic hydrocarbon content.
Reducing the sulfur content of diesel is an inevitable trend in the development of diesel at home and abroad, and the use of low-sulfur or ultra-low-sulfur diesel can meet the constantly updated environmental protection requirements. Reducing the sulfur content in diesel is also an important measure to reduce exhaust pollutant emissions and protect the environment.
This more environmentally friendly diesel has a low sulfur content, a low aromatic hydrocarbon content, a high cetane number and a light fraction.
The development of sulfur reduction technologies such as hydrorefining and hydrocracking has made it possible to greatly reduce the sulfur content of diesel. However, while various refining processes reduce the sulfur content in diesel, the degree of polymerization of oxygen and nitrogen compounds and polar compounds in diesel fuel will be greatly reduced, which will eventually lead to a decrease in the lubricity of diesel.
Diesel lubricity refers to the characteristics of diesel fuel that can prevent the wear of diesel injection system (FIE), and the oxygen-containing compounds, nitrogen-containing compounds, sulfur-containing compounds and aromatic hydrocarbon compounds in diesel fuel are the main components that affect the lubricity of diesel. Sulfur-containing compounds play little role in the anti-wear of diesel, and even increase the wear of diesel, not the main components of diesel that play an anti-wear role, oxygen-containing compounds and nitrogen-containing compounds are the main factors affecting the lubricity of diesel, among which the anti-wear effect of oxygen-containing compounds is more significant, and the anti-wear of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in aromatic hydrocarbons is the best, which are important factors affecting the lubricity of diesel.
However, due to the harsh hydrodesulfurization process commonly used in the production of low-sulfur diesel, the content of oxygen-containing and nitrogen-containing compounds and polycyclic and bicyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in hydrodiesel is also reduced, and various refining processes will greatly reduce the content of polar substances and aromatic compounds with strong lubricating ability, so the lubricity of low-sulfur diesel is greatly reduced. The use of such low-sulfur diesel can cause problems such as adhesive wear, oxidative corrosion, and fretting wear in the fuel injection system, which can cause premature damage to the fuel pump.
The addition of lubricity additives, i.e., anti-wear agents, to low-sulphur diesel is the easiest and most widely adopted method of improving the lubricity of diesel.
Anti-wear agent GSC-03 is a non-toxic additive for liquid oil-soluble diesel lubricity improvement, its chemical element composition is C, H, O, N, which can be used in various grades of low-sulfur diesel, and can significantly improve the lubricity of diesel fuel (HFRR method - that is, high-frequency reciprocating testing machine method (HFRR) to evaluate diesel lubrication performance, test standard method ISO12156-1), reduce diesel engine wear and improve operating conditions. Suitable for a wide range of low-sulfur diesel produced in refineries, including low-sulfur diesel (LSD) and ultra-low-sulfur diesel (ULSD) with sulfur content ranging from 3-5 to 350 ppm from different crude oil sources. It can significantly improve the lubrication performance of diesel, reduce the degree of wear of the fuel injection pump, especially when using ultra-low sulfur diesel products, protect the fuel injection system from wear, improve engine life and reduce maintenance costs.
Diesel anti-wear agent GSC-03 is a composite lubricity improver, which is composed of long-chain fatty acids and derivatives, fatty acid esters and other polar compounds, which can be dynamically adsorbed on the metal surface, generate physical adsorption film and chemical adsorption film on the metal surface, lubricate the metal material to reduce the friction coefficient, reduce the friction between metal parts during movement, so the degree of lubrication is significantly improved.
The product performance can be substituted and better than similar foreign products, and it can handle low-sulfur and ultra-low-sulfur diesel, and is not limited by the source, composition and refining process conditions of crude oil.
The significant characteristics of anti-wear agent GSC-03 are:
(1) improved diesel lubricity;
(2) reduce the wear of the fuel injection system, so as to improve the engine life;
(3) Protect fuel tanks and pipelines from corrosion;
(4) It does not affect the cleaning of the nozzle.
When the anti-wear agent GSC-03 is added at 100-200ppm, the wear mark diameter of hydrodiesel can be reduced from more than 700 μm to less than 450 μm.
Anti-wear agent GSC-03 does not affect other characteristics of diesel fuel, including low temperature flow characteristics, cetane number, storage stability, engine oil compatibility, nozzle fouling, etc., and this product does not interact with other additives in the diesel production process. After addition, the basic physicochemical properties of diesel fuel are not changed, the product is non-corrosive, and its toxicity and safety prevention are similar to those of general petroleum products.

How to Use:
It is suitable for storage and production between -40°C and 60°C, no special equipment is required for production, and it can be diluted or added as a pure agent;
It is recommended to add the dosing method online. When used in the field, this product can be added to the circulating oil circuit of the oil storage tank;
In any case, in order to achieve a good blending effect, the temperature of the blending process should be maintained at a temperature of more than 10°C at the temperature at which the wax formation occurs.
